WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Finance Manager (m/f/d) who not only understands numbers but also uses them to identify the right questions, insights, and decisions. In this key role, you will support the CFO of an internationally growing SaaS group in the financial management and further development of the company.

You will ensure transparency regarding the group’s financial performance, coordinate international finance matters, and support the integration of new companies. In doing so, you will operate at the intersection of finance, operations, and management, derive concrete recommendations for action from data, and drive the further development of reporting, processes, and management tools.

At the same time, you will gain deep insights into the development of a dynamic, PE-backed software company and take on responsibility early on in key finance, integration, and transformation projects.

YOUR ROLE

  • Responsibility for group-wide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including analysis of revenue, earnings, cash flow, and performance metrics
  • Preparation and analysis of regular financial, sales, and business reports, as well as the development of well-founded recommendations for internal decision-makers
  • Support and further development of budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
  • Technical support and validation of monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with local finance and accounting teams
  • Further development of KPI systems, reporting structures, and management tools
  • Support for the integration of new companies as part of post-merger integration (PMI) projects
  • Collaboration with international finance teams and support in harmonizing processes, reporting standards, and data structures
  • Close collaboration with the CFO, management, and business units on operational and financial matters, as well as the implementation of improvement measures

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable field
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in Group Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Audit, or a similar analytical role. Ideally, experience in a growth-oriented software, SaaS, or private equity environment
  • A strong understanding of financial and business concepts, as well as the ability to derive well-founded recommendations for action from them
  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with a strong focus on execution
  • An open, communicative, and proactive individual who enjoys working in international teams and across different corporate cultures
  • Excellent command of German and English, as well as a willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally
